Senior Pastor

Pastor Johnny Moore

Pastor Moore has been the Pastor of Promiseland Church of God in Christ since 1986 (33yrs.) He, along with his wife, Lady Anita Moore, studied tirelessly, and both received their degree in Theological Studies from the C. H Mason Bible College in Memphis, TN. Pastor Moore was also bestowed the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from the Charles Harrison Mason/ L. T. Walker School of Theology. He believes that God has commissioned him to teach His word through dissected text exegesis that will allow God to saturate the hearts of His people by endowing them with a word of comfort, hope and spiritual renewing daily. Pastor Johnny strive to use his knowledge of God’s Word to enrich, enlighten, & build the people of God and the community around him

Our Ushers are one of the most important ministries in the church. They are here to greet you! If you are not sure where to go, to sit, or looking for friends, they are here to help!. They are available during the entire service to help you with whatever you may need to enjoy the service and atmosphere to the fullest

Our Worship Team

Our worship team is here to lead us in praise and worship. Like the praise team that went ahead of Joshua’s army at the Walls of Jericho, our team is here to help usher in the presences of God so that when you come through our doors, you can lay all of your burdens on Him. We enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise!

Men’s and Women’s Ministry

The Men’s and Women’s leadership team is always here to help you find your place in this ministry. They will be able to guide you as you continue you walk with Christ and His works in this life.
